CHARTER rb.soc.religion.christian is a broad Christian discussion community covering scripture, theology, church history, denominations, prayer, discipleship, ethics, ministry, and everyday Christian life. Christians from different traditions, seekers, and respectful non-Christians are welcome to participate. RATIONALE Christianity includes many traditions and a long history of serious theological and practical discussion. This group provides a stable parent community for broad conversation while supporting focused subgroups devoted to subjects such as worship, scripture, prayer, and particular traditions. MODERATION This is a moderated group. Vigorous theological disagreement is welcome when expressed honestly and respectfully. Denominational hostility, harassment, personal condemnation, deliberate misrepresentation, repetitive proselytizing spam, and attempts to derail every discussion will be moderated.
