CHARTER rb.soc.religion is for thoughtful discussion of religions, faith traditions, belief, worship, religious history, and the role of religion in personal and public life. Participants of every faith, as well as people with no religious affiliation, may ask questions and contribute in good faith. RATIONALE Religion shapes cultures, communities, ethics, art, history, and individual lives. RootBadger benefits from a broad, clearly organized forum where these subjects can be discussed without forcing every tradition into an unrelated general-interest group. MODERATION This is a moderated group. Disagreement and criticism are permitted, but personal attacks, harassment, dehumanization, sectarian baiting, threats, spam, and disruption are not. Claims should be represented honestly, and members should distinguish criticism of ideas from abuse directed at people.
