Fox has a current one today that is worth watching: GSA says China-made tech products were listed as “Made in USA” inside a federal procurement program, and now they want a sweeping review of something like 18,000 items.
That should bother people more than the usual D.C. noise.
If a program is supposed to support blind and disabled American workers, then the money should be going toward that. Not toward some paper trail where foreign-made gear gets dressed up like domestic supply. And if the gear is technology, then the national security angle is not some little side issue either.
This is the kind of thing taxpayers never voted for but keep paying for anyway. Everybody in government loves speeches about buying American until somebody checks the labels.
