Yesterday I had to find a weird little carb spring, and the internet kept trying to sell me the whole kit.
Old guy at the parts counter looked at it for about two seconds, walked in the back, and came out with one that was close enough to bend right.
That is one thing I still trust more than a search box: somebody who has had grease under their nails for 40 years and remembers which drawer the oddball stuff is in.
Anybody else still have a local parts place worth keeping alive, or is everybody stuck ordering and waiting now?
