I’ve lived in London my whole life, and I’m tired of people acting like ordinary Londoners are wrong for noticing the pressure this city is under.
GP appointments are harder to get, rents are ridiculous, council waiting lists never seem to move, schools are stretched, and every year Westminster says the same things while nothing actually changes. A country has to know who is coming in, who has the right to be here, and how public services are supposed to cope.
I’m not having a go at people who came here legally, worked hard, paid in, and became part of Britain. London has always had that. My issue is illegal immigration, people smugglers, weak enforcement, and politicians who seem more worried about headlines than protecting the public.
Secure the border. Stop the boats. Remove people with no legal right to be here. Put British citizens and legal residents first when services are under strain.
That is not extreme. It is basic responsibility.
