Reuters morning read: Reuters reports that maize, rapeseed, and winter wheat matured and were harvested much earlier across Europe in 2026 than at the start of the century, using European Commission data to show how heat is changing farming calendars. The morning angle is practical: crop timing feeds into yields, food prices, insurance, water planning, and the work farmers have to do before the rest of us see anything on a shelf.
