I've been experimenting with automated trading bots for a while now. They've had their ups and downs, but it's been a great learning experience. I have an Alpaca trading bot that I plan to release once I'm happy with it. The last time I actively used it was sometime last year, and I'm currently revisiting the strategy, tuning it, and making improvements before putting it back into action.

I’d be very careful. I’ve been in the trading space for 23 years and I’ve never seen a bot consistently successful. Yes it takes away emotions but it doesn’t take into account nuances of trading.

I have seen them gain but they usually lose it right back, so you're not wrong.
