James Mishler - May 3rd "Here is my work in progress on a map ca. 2590"

Here is my work in progress on a map ca. 2590, several years before the

Horseclans arrive in Kehnooryos Ehlahs.

My additions to the map are:

Ahriyah — Savage mountain Mehrikans.

Deegwoh — An empire built by Chinese survivors from many different tribes.

Fuhsang — Former territory of Deegwoh, in chaos since the Great Earthquakes, much like the Middle Kingdoms.

Ehzgweerzehn — Wastelands, mountains, and high plains occupied by Mongol-descended nomads.

Nayanahkiekeh — Mountain folk descended from Hawaiians.

Tayhaas — Former Mehikan colony conquered by Horseclansfolk.

Ohzarkee — More mountain Mehrikans.

Mehmfiz — My Mehmfiz is a Black Kingdom, but rather than adopting Islam, they adopted the ancient Egyptian/Kushitic pantheon.

Aiwayyid — Cities, towns, and nomadic tribes descended from Arabs.

Soomaliyah — A league of city-states descended from Somalis.

Hwiska — Woodsfolk and city-states descended from the peoples of
Wisconsin. They also go a-viking on the Inner Sea, but are more apt to trade or settle than merely raid.

Vikings — Mountain, hill, and forest tribes descended from Scandinavians.

Yoopahs — Savage swampers and ancient enemies of the Hwiska.

Note that although the Great Earthquakes devastated and changed the land, the land itself is not sinking. The oceans and seas are rising, and much of the inundated territory is now home to savage swamp- and fen-folk.
