i've got a boat... water's the thing.
here's another thing since we're getting conversational, I wish I knew more about Sunut or was it Sunnut... ? good teachers and mentors are so important. :)
yes, Sunnut. he was a very knowledgeable Solaris guy. even worked for sun Microsystems and then Oracle when they bought them. He died somewhere around 2010 from a massive heart attack from what I understand.

perfect mate, thanks...
I've found a load of Sunnut's old posts and lots of other old names I remember and recognise... Like Gandalf from 2600.
Some of my earliest reading on usenet was in the hacker and phreaker groups which provided me with all the information and links I needed to begin understanding networks, protocols, transport layers etc...

Yes they were a wild bunch. I wish I could find some of them. People used to go crazy about what UTB meant. Some thought it was University of Texas Beaumont. Many other things. It actually only meant Under The Bridge.

Danke. Didn't see the fuckstain. Only the shitstain, Robbie.
I did see one post about him unable to use wget on rootbadger. That's because Yoda obviously has security in place. Fucking dipshit.
