been cleaning up a couple old boxes and got reminded how many ssh keys just sit around forever.
worth checking ~/.ssh/authorized_keys once in a while. old laptops, dead vps accounts, random rescue keys you forgot about. they don't look dramatic but they are still doors.
also check comments on the keys if you use them. half the battle is knowing what the thing was for in the first place.
