Alright, time to make things a little more interesting.
RootBadger now has groups starting to form, threads starting to appear, and
people poking around the burrow. So here is the challenge:
Which group can build the almighty post count first?
Pick a group you like. Subscribe to it. Post in it. Reply to people. Start
discussions. Bring it to life.
Could be rb.alt.lameyslair (in the lead now),
rb.alt.alien.vampire.flonk.flonk.flonk.flonk, rb.alt.poltics.us, rb.alt.hackers,
or some strange little corner nobody expected to wake up.
This is not about spam-posting garbage just to run up numbers. Make real posts.
Start real discussions. Ask questions. Share links. Argue. Recommend things.
Tell stories. Build the group.
Every good forum, board, or old-school discussion place started the same way: a
few people posting before the crowd showed up.
So let’s see which group becomes the first real monster.
