Useful this morning: Spotted a pothole, blocked drain, broken street light or unsafe pavement in the UK? GOV.UK's streets and roads page links to the correct council reporting service for each type of problem. Note the exact location and, where safe, a nearby house number or lamp-post number before filing the report; immediate danger should go to the relevant emergency or out-of-hours service instead.
