Good morning, Europe. Monday opens with a major election result in Serbia and a small security upgrade worth making before the week gets busy.
Reuters morning read: Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic has conceded defeat to the student-led movement in Sunday’s parliamentary election. He said preliminary sampling put the Student List on 135 to 140 seats, against 105 for his party, while final results were still pending. The snap vote followed nearly two years of demonstrations sparked by the 2024 Novi Sad railway-station canopy collapse, which killed 16 people.

Useful this morning: The UK National Cyber Security Centre now recommends using passkeys wherever a service offers them. Passkeys are designed to resist phishing and remove the need to remember another password. For accounts without passkeys, use a strong, unique password—ideally stored in a password manager—and switch on two-step verification. Start with your primary email account, since access to it can unlock password resets elsewhere.
