π¬ Useful this morning: If Halloween candy is already coming into the house, set it aside for a quick inspection before anyone digs in. The FDA recommends discarding treats with torn wrappers, pinholes, discoloration, or anything else unusual. Check labels carefully for allergens, and remove gum, hard candy, peanuts, and small toys from the bags of very young children because they can be choking hazards.
