Volkov has a point. Hokit looks dangerous, but going from prospect to a title shot this fast says UFC wanted the matchup more than it wanted the division sorted out. Meanwhile Volkov is ranked No. 2 and gets somebody below him after two straight wins.
If Volkov beats Kuniev he should be next. No Pereira shortcut or another famous name cutting the line. Heavyweight is thin enough without making the rankings meaningless.
