The hard part with midrange laptops is knowing whether “better quality” means sturdier hinges, a decent keyboard, and a screen you can live with after two years—not just a nicer spec sheet. If Dell has tightened those basics, a higher price can make sense, but it still has to compete with used business-class machines. #technology
