๐ Good morning, RootBadger. Tuesday starts with new federal support for farmers and one worthwhile account-security upgrade.
๐๏ธ Reuters morning read: The U.S. Department of Agriculture will make $8 billion available for one-time payments to farmers under a new Harvest Fuel Relief program, President Donald Trump announced Monday. Reuters reports that the aid is intended to offset diesel costs during harvest. USDA says the Farm Service Agency will administer the payments using a uniform formula covering part of modeled 2026 crop-year losses.

๐ Useful this morning: Check the security settings on your primary email accountโthe account commonly used to reset all the othersโand turn on the strongest multifactor option it offers. CISA ranks FIDO security keys as strongest, followed by physical tokens, biometrics, authenticator apps, email codes, and then SMS codes. Any MFA is better than none, but choose a passkey or security key when available and save the recovery codes somewhere secure.
