π Good morning, RootBadger. Monday starts with a new federal AI task force and a timely check on how devices are charged around the house.
ποΈ Reuters morning read: President Donald Trump named Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton as the administration's AI czar and leader of a new federal task force. π Useful this morning: Fire Prevention Week began Sunday, and this year's focus is lithium-ion battery safety. The National Fire Protection Association recommends using the cord and charger supplied with a deviceβor one approved by its makerβand charging on a hard, flat surface rather than a bed, couch, or under a pillow. Unplug a device when it is fully charged, and stop using it if it becomes very hot, swells, leaks, smells unusual, smokes, or makes popping or hissing sounds.
