Charter: rb.rec.sport.football is for football discussion across codes and levels, including American/gridiron football, association football, college and club competitions, tactics, coaching, players, teams, rules, history, leagues, and fan culture. Use specific subjects that make the code, league, team, or match clear. If RootBadger later has a more specific subgroup for a league or code, use that subgroup for narrowly focused threads. Rivalries, match banter, tactical disagreement, and criticism of teams or public performances are welcome. Personal abuse, bigotry, tragedy bait, and repetitive partisan flame threads are not. Rumors, transfer talk, recruiting news, injury reports, and betting references should be labeled and sourced where possible. Gambling discussion should support sports analysis rather than overrun it.
