Charter: rb.rec.sport.baseball is for baseball discussion at every level: MLB, minor leagues, international leagues, college, youth, rules, analytics, scouting, player development, history, ballparks, broadcasting, collecting, and baseball culture. Good threads include game discussion, team and player analysis, pitching and hitting mechanics, roster construction, prospects, trades, free agency, rule changes, classic seasons, and local baseball stories. Debate is welcome, including stats-versus-scouting arguments, Hall of Fame cases, and front-office criticism. Keep it substantive and directed at the topic rather than the person posting. Rumors should be labeled and sourced. Fantasy baseball and betting discussion are allowed when they connect to broader baseball analysis, but not as context-free lineups, slips, or spam. Use clear subjects for live games, postseason threads, no-hit bids, major injuries, trades, and spoilers.
