FLAME WARZ: THE TABLE IS YOURS. EARN IT. The home of RootBadger card battles: clever counters, dramatic dice rolls, team rivalries, and comebacks worth telling. Find opponents, share strategies, help beginners, and shape the game. Big ratings are no substitute for a good plan. TAKE YOUR SEAT Sign in at /cards/game. Your collection is at /cards; study profiles at /cards/library. /cards/game/preview tests new mechanics without promising permanent rewards or real card transfers. Choose 7 active cards and up to 2 backups. Bring only ONE Wild Card, including backups, and you must own it. Collected copies are not yours to play. ROLL INITIATIVE Highest die wins initiative; ties reroll. In dice battles, the initiative winner rolls first each round. Select a card, choose Influence, Endurance, or Reach, then press the round-start button. Picking a stat does not start the round. Asynchronous player challenges wait for your opponent's response. KNOW YOUR CARDS OVR means Overall Rating: Standing, Impact, Activity, Experience, Consistency, and Range. Counters, dice, abilities, and special powers can beat a higher OVR. FLAME beats MOCKERY. MOCKERY beats RECEIPTS. RECEIPTS beats FLAME. Read card profiles: Wild Card rules can override normal scoring. KEEP AN ANSWER IN RESERVE In solo dice battles, played cards are spent even when they win. Losing cards burn and stay burnt after the fire ends. Deploy backups into empty slots or spend your limited revival chance. Revival rolls: 1-2 fails; 3-5 returns a weakened card; 6 returns full strength. Phoenix has a separate rebirth power. Solo survival battles end when a side has no playable cards, backups, or usable revival left. Server-backed player matches currently use best-of-seven: four round wins. Follow the rules for your match mode. CHOOSE YOUR EDGE HOT START: opening-round bonus. LONG GAME: reserve deployments gain a bonus. CHAOS: your first would-be losing roll rerolls once per match. The replacement can be better OR worse. Spend Momentum for a scoring boost. In dice battles, a natural 6 replenishes it up to the limit. Card abilities add tactical choices. Save resources for the comeback you might need. WILD CARDS: READ THE FINE PRINT HANNIGAN beats Netizens and Lurkers regardless of score, unless they have Flame style. BRENNAN always ends with LOL! Receipts automatically beats him. He beats Meowers unless they have Flame. JEN SNYDE automatically loses to Flame and beats SNUH unless they have Flame. RUDY CORNHILIO automatically loses to Mockery and beats Flame regardless of score. PHOENIX beats Flame. In dice battles, playing him can restore a previously burnt card at full strength without a revive token. Once per match; Phoenix stays spent and cannot revive himself. Consult current profiles and mode rules, especially when Wild Cards face each other. OWNERSHIP HAS STAKES Hold up to 3 Wild Cards; bring only one. Supported player matches offer a heist: spend 2 Momentum, announce a target, beat that Wild Card in the designated round, then roll 5 or 6. The defender can spend a revival token to protect it. Claim captures after the match; at capacity, release another card. Exchanges have a daily cooldown. Solo and preview cannot steal real cards. TEAM WARS AND TABLE TALK Organize challenges, share battle reports, discuss Home Froup standings, and suggest improvements. Eligible completed player matches count toward team progress; solo practice and same-team challenges award no team points. State the mode when sharing results. Report bugs with the page, mode, steps, and expected versus actual behavior. Never share credentials or private messages without permission. Report exploits privately. Roast cards, not people. Banter is welcome; harassment, hate, threats, cheating, and spam are not. Welcome beginners and follow RootBadger's site rules. Win with a plan. Lose with a lesson. Roll again.
