rb.alt.spam is the RootBadger pressure-release group for safe, low-stakes noise. This group exists so users have somewhere appropriate to test formatting, try out posting features, share harmless memes, make throwaway “does this work?” posts, experiment with safe bots, and post random nonsense that would otherwise pollute more focused groups. The point is not to make the whole site messy. The point is the opposite: keep lightweight junk, tests, and safe experiments contained in one obvious place. Appropriate posts include: * posting tests * markdown and formatting tests * harmless memes * random safe nonsense * bot experiments that are clearly identified and not abusive * link, image, quote, signature, and crosspost tests * “does this work?” posts This is still a RootBadger group, so the basic site rules apply. Not allowed: * illegal content * porn or explicit sexual material * doxxing, private information, or personal data posted without consent * malware, scams, phishing, credential theft, or deceptive links * hate, extremist, or violent recruitment content * flooding the rest of RootBadger Keep spam inside this group. Do not use rb.alt.spam as an excuse to disrupt other groups, harass users, evade moderation, or test abusive behavior. Safe experiments are welcome. Site-wide messes are not. The best use of this group is simple: if it is harmless but noisy, put it here instead of dropping it into a serious discussion group.
