Charter for alt.humor alt.humor is an unmoderated newsgroup for jokes, satire, absurdity, comic writing, humorous observations, internet weirdness, and other material posted primarily to amuse. On-topic posts include original jokes, comedic essays, odd historical finds, playful nonsense, parody, and deadpan discussion that is clearly meant in a humorous spirit. Low production value is fine if the post is actually funny or interesting. Off-topic material includes spam, harassment disguised as comedy, doxxing, and repetitive stolen slop posted at volume. Offensive humour may appear; targeted abuse and flood posting are still unacceptable. Moderation policy: unmoderated, subject to platform anti-abuse controls.
