Copyright Reports
RootBadger reviews specific reports of material alleged to infringe copyright.
Send an infringement notice
Email admin@rootbadger.com and include:
- Your name, contact information, and physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved.
- The specific RootBadger URL and enough information for us to locate the material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Please do not send passwords, private keys, or unrelated personal information.
Review and repeat infringement
We review sufficiently specific notices, may disable access to identified material where appropriate, and may notify the person who posted it. In appropriate circumstances, RootBadger terminates accounts of repeat infringers. We consider counter-notices and restoration where applicable law permits.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened through mistake or misidentification, email admin@rootbadger.com. Identify the removed material and its former URL; provide your name, address, phone number, and signature; state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and state your consent to the jurisdiction and service-of-process requirements applicable to a statutory counter-notice. Consider legal advice before submitting one.
